About Me

I’m Drew (he/him), originally hailing from Australia, I now call Denmark home. I grew up in Sydney, on Eora Country and spent most of my life there until I received a ‘can’t-say-no’ job offer in Copenhagen in 2015.

Combining over 12 years of hands-on experience working on international IT projects in roles within both business and IT, with a collaborative leadership style, I excel at motivating teams and achieving project goals. In my work I believe that clear communication, a collaborative spirit, and fostering strong relationships are crucial.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I actively seek opportunities to make a positive impact through volunteer work. This desire to help others gives me a lot of energy and allows me to leverage my skills in support of social or environmental causes I care about. Whether it’s local initiatives or contributions to broader efforts, I believe in utilising my knowledge and experience to contribute constructively.

Project Management

Since 2012 I have worked with ERP systems AX2009, AX2012 and D365 F&O. From project manager, super user, tester, trainer, to consultant I have worked with these systems primarily from a retail and supply chain / operations perspective; however my involvement in many international roll-out projects means I have a wide breadth of knowledge on other areas as well. I often play the role of ‘translator’ and help bridge the gap between the technical experts in IT and the functional users in the business. I have a keen eye for detail, and a firm understanding of the importance of master data to every business and how this should be handled across integrated systems.

I’ve been fortunate to work on projects involving travel to Australia, Denmark, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, USA, Poland, Spain, and Germany; as well as having been involved remotely in projects for other countries such as Portugal. In the many projects I have contributed to, various project methodologies have been employed, though in recent years a strong move towards agile away from waterfall has been evident. I am a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner & PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, a certified SAFe Agilist, and have first hand experience with the effectiveness of a more agile approach.
A short overview of my career can be found here.

DDS Stenlænderne

A Danish scout group in the municipality (kommune) of Egedal, I was first introduced to the group a few years ago by my husband, who has been a member of the Stendlænderne Tambourkorps (marching band) for many years, and whose family has strong ties to the Stenlænderne group.

I have previously been a member of the board, but now I am responsible for managing our fundraising efforts, and I look forward every year to helping out in the café at the Christmas market. In 2024 the market will be held on the 30th of November & 1st of December.

17, stk.4-udvalg omkring ”Borgerdialog” – Egedal Kommune

In March 2022 I was selected as one of the members for my local council’s commitee regarding dialogue with residents. The committee met regularly to discuss how dialogue between the council and residents should function best for both sides. As the council covers so many areas, at many varying levels of complexity, effective dialogue is just as complex and varied.

The committee (consisting of both residents and sitting members of the city council) during 2022 and the first half of 2023 discussed, investigated and provided suggestions to the city council on the future of dialogue in Egedal.
